I would like to take this opportunity to offer all of you and your families my wishes for a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving. It truly has been a year of blessings and it is anticipated that they will continue as the years go by.
I would also remind each of you of the Installation of your Officers on December 21st. Elections were held and you now have elected three "young" masons to the Principle Officers Chairs. They are dedicated young men with great ideas and solid leadership capabilities.
Your Worshipful Master-elect is Brother Rob Hanson who is calling for an Officer Public Installation to be held on December 21st commencing with a 10:30 am Pot Luck Brunch with Installation at 12:00. It is my wish that as many of you as possible come to share in the fellowship of the brunch with your delicious dishes and support your new Officers for the coming year. This next year is truly the transition year for your Lodge as we move forward with a new generation of competent, exciting new leadership and a strong Lodge which consists of a large number of new members the last two years.
I would also draw your attention to December 14th. Our District Deputy, Paul Tourville has done a great job this year with direction and activities to strengthen the Brotherhood. One of these activities is his "Improve yourself in Masonry" events to be held in Janesville. As the host Lodge, I feel it is extremely important that as many show up as possible. Janesville has been showcased this year and we owe to the the Grand Lodge and our District Brothers to give a strong show of support. It begins at 8:30 and should be over by noon. Please review your "Trestleboard" as it is posted in the calendar and the descriptions of activities. Reservations are needed for headcounts so food arrangements can be made properly and with accuracy for lunch.
Stay warm and see you at Lodge.
Sincerely and Fraternally,
